Oracle database support · Ukraine
Administration, monitoring, performance tuning and disaster recovery. You work directly with the expert who does the work — no account managers, no hand-offs.
If even one of these sounds familiar, it’s worth a conversation.
Unexplained outages, errors in alert.log, user complaints.
Backups exist, but nobody has tested a restore in a long time.
Reports take hours to run and queries crawl at peak times.
Downtime costs money, and there is no standby site.
Or they have left, and a qualified replacement is hard to find.
It’s time to upgrade or move to a new platform.
Security updates keep getting postponed for fear of breaking production.
The database grows faster than planned and tablespaces keep filling up.
You need to work out how to move Oracle databases without risk to the business.
The engineered system is in place, but there is nobody to tune and maintain it.
Data has to be kept in sync between databases or fed into a reporting system.
It is unclear which options and editions are in use and whether that matches the license.
Installation, configuration, users and privileges, space management, upgrades and patches tested in advance.
Regular health checks, log analysis, incident response and clear reports on the work done.
AWR/ASH diagnostics, SQL and instance parameter tuning, segment reorganization.
RMAN strategy, regular restore testing, database recovery after a failure.
Building and maintaining Data Guard (standby) and RAC configurations.
Moving to a new Oracle release, another OS or hardware platform with minimal downtime.
A review of configuration, backups, performance and security, with a written report and recommendations.
Implementation, configuration and support of Exadata and SuperCluster.
Architecture on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, moving databases to the cloud, Autonomous Database.
Setting up and maintaining data replication between databases — for reporting, integration or migration.
Working out which Oracle editions and options are in use and which licenses they require.
Installation, configuration, backup and maintenance of MySQL 8.0 databases.
The engagement option and scope depend on the number of databases and their complexity. I prepare an exact proposal after getting to know your system.

Full-service support
One-off tasks
I have worked with Oracle Database for 30 years — from version 8.0 to the current releases. I hold Oracle Certified Professional certifications for every version from 8.0 to 12c, and Oracle Certified Master 10g and 11g.
From 1998, senior DBA at a telecom operator, followed by almost 18 years in Oracle consulting, where I rose to technical director and head of the DBA team: high-availability systems on RAC and Data Guard, Exadata/SuperCluster implementation and support, migrations, tuning and licensing advice. Since 2022 I have worked as a sole proprietor — Oracle DBA and architect, including Oracle databases in the cloud.
No need to explain your system to a new engineer every time.
A direct line, with no ticket queue.
You bring in an expert for exactly the scope you need, without a full-time position.
Registered sole proprietor: contract, invoices, acceptance certificates, NDA if needed.
Describe your system and what concerns you — via the form, by phone or on Telegram.
A short conversation: versions, data volumes, criticality, current issues.
I review the state of the database and propose an engagement option.
We sign the contract and NDA, I receive access — and work begins.
The first conversation is free of any obligation.
